Thank you for your interest in The Deep’s ‘Explore the Shore’ activities.

All of the events are free to attend and children age 3-15.  All volunteers (age 3-15) will receive a free goody bag and certificate.  You can also enjoy beach games and activities.

All activities start at 1pm.  Meet in the car park on the right hand side of the road near the big black and white lighthouse (HU12 0UB) look out for The Deep van and signs!  This event also includes a Beach Clean for the Marine Conservation Society, all equipment for this will be provided by The Deep.

Please note there is a small charge for cars to enter the Reserve (proceeds go to Yorkshire Wildlife Trust).  Sorry, no Dogs are permitted on the reserve.

Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather for all beach activities.  We recommend sturdy footwear or wellies. The Deep team will provide each volunteer with gloves and hand cleaner.  Please note that events may be cancelled in bad weather.

All children must be accompanied by an adult (16 years and over) at all times and that adult will have full responsibility for the child/children that they are accompanying.

Look out for The Deep van and crew members in pale blue shirts.  We look forward to seeing you on the day!  So we can prepare goody bag and certificate suitable for your child, please let us know if you plan to join us.
